The Calvary Christian Lady Spartans had official teams on and off over the years but in 2014/2015 Calvary went back to the hardwood as a young junior high team led by coaches Kurt Penhorwood, Pastor Eric Cook and Bekah Oglesby. These young Spartans shocked many as they finished 2nd in the Independent Christian Schools Organization (ICSO) conference. The 2015/2016 season was the first time Calvary Christian dressed a varsity team. Since this first varsity season, the Lady Spartans have won 4 conference championships, two in the ISCO (2016/2017, 2017/2018), and in 2018 Calvary Christian transitioned to the Ohio Valley Christian Conference and won the conference in 2019/2020 and in 2020/2021 season.
You will see the championship teams below and the Spartans are looking forward to the next time they can step on the hardwood and continue their three core values, Our God, Our Team, Our Family!
